Before forming Vellichor Law, I was a litigation associate in a mid-size law firm.  I worked on cases ranging from high-profile, multi-million dollar contract disputes to real estate litigation.  I learned many lessons working as a litigator.

While court can be exciting for attorneys, it's often less than pleasant for clients.  It's uncertain.  It's adversarial. Even when you "win," you still usually have to pay your attorneys.

I realized I prefer to help clients plan and arrange.  In other words, I like to help clients avoid problems.  A little creativity and plain English in an LLC's operating agreement, for example, can prevent expensive lawsuits in the future.  Since 2015, I've formed dozens of LLC's and partnerships, and I've helped close more than $20 million in commercial and residential real estate transactions.  I like what I do, and I'm good at it.

If I'm not working, I'm probably cooking, playing volleyball, waterskiing, reading, or playing with Bentley (a poodle, cocker spaniel mix) and Finn (a labradoodle).
